In this interactive installation visitors can control a simple arcade game only using sounds. Through simple machine learning techniques anybody can teach the game to react to their distinct sounds. Want to jump by clapping or duck by shouting “down”? Up to you - just teach the machine!

Støj is a creative coding studio from Copenhagen (DK) started in 2017 by Andreas Refsgaard and Lasse Korsgaard, both alumni from Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design. They work with code, machine learning and physical computing and have experience from advertising agencies and creative studios BBH New York, Circus Family Amsterdam, Nerd Berlin and Hello Monday. Prior works have been exhibited at London Design Week, New York Design Week, Trailerpark Festival Copenhagen, Playful Arts Festival Netherlands, Ars Electronica Austria and Nabi AI Hackathon South Korea and their projects have been featured on sites like Wired, Gizmodo, Creators Project, New Scientist, Business Insider, PSFK and Vice Motherboard.
